played cash in atlantis on the 5th dec was ment t be 1000e game but never developed so was 200e buy in n hit a few cards n cashed for 1050e was good profit. went in that friday sat in with 150e n cashed 500e was good boost cause was running bad before these cashes! so played saterday aswel and cashed 650 for my 100e so all in all was a good weekend with about 1800e profit. next week played 2/5nl in atlantis was in for 300e with no joy. also played 200e frezout for ticket to the ipc in galway came 35 out a 70 runners so no good. 20th dec 200e frezeout in blazin aces card club with 2 i.p.c tickets garenteed worth 2k each so should be a cracker of a game heres hoping!

waterford open main event

i arrived on fiday at around 7 it kicked off at 8. walked in to the ball room in the hotel and i was amazed it was unbelivable it was like the tv like the rio on main event day with obviously a few less tables lol. 270 odd runners was pretty good turn out. 150 of them through t day2.
sat nite after it was witled down to 30 i was asked t deal a private game for a few famous ppl lol. was brilliant there was tk kendall he presents sky poker and is also a pro player and a retired millionare, also there was dave compton who also presents sky poker and also atthe races!
day 3 saw the 30 become 10 and the final table was at last here after 36 hours of dealing for me i was finished. the line up was

its fast approching now starting with d super sats on thurs. there is a big field regestered n no spare seats so full house expected. it also has been announced dat sky will b sending over there cameras for the 3day event so hopefully il get my head in der somewhere haha. have decided to wrk for d weekend rather den play the main event thought id earn a bit a money instead of giving it away. il prob play one of the supporting events maby the 150f/o on sunday. all in all were in for a brilliant weekend of poker with the biggest players in europe coming to play.

celtic poker grand final

played the cpt final last weekend.This was my first big tornement so to speak.was a good tornement 200+ runners. 140k was payed out. play started at 2 on day one and i got of to a flyer some guy donked of 80% of his stack to me in first level. played fairly tight poker after that just watching table and not getting involved in big hands.after the first 4 levels the top up was giving it was 200 for 10k so i had 27k after the break which was pretty sweet.after the break i got moved to a fairly tight table. I started to play more aggresive poker. About 4 hands in i raised in late poss with 9s,10s folded round to big blind he calls. flop comes As,Ks,9h he checked to me i bet 3.5k pot size and he calls turn comes a 4s he checks again i bet 10k and he pushes in for 26k i decided to call and he turns over 6s,8s so hes dead nice one. i was second in chips with 75k blinds were 1k 2k.i ended day1 with 82k was very happy with this. 75players to day2. Day 2 came and for the first 4or5 levels i was totally card dead was down to 40k. the last hand before the break i was small blind and folded around and i called bb checks i had q,5 flop comes a,q,5 i bet out 4k bb raises to 12k i push for 30k more bb thinks for an eternity and calls turns over a,3. good so far turn comes q. and river comes a Q, ha sweet 88k by the break.
table was broke 4 tables left and all the big stacks are on my table.
blinds are 3k6k and in bb mid poss raise of 16k one caller i look down at 10,10 and decide to push for 70k original raiser folds with guy behind and he thinks for ages and eventually calls i didnt want a caller but when he turned over a,q off for 90%of his stack i tink wtf are you doing donkey. anyway 9 high flop turns a blank and big fat ace on river and im heading home. was happy enough with my 35th place finish. played solid enough all week would have been nice to cash as top 20 were payed but cant win em all.
